Privacy Policy

TeamFellow (“TeamFellow”, “we”, “us”) provides a shared inbox for WhatsApp conversations. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and — because of how TeamFellow is built — what we deliberately do not collect.

1. Account information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and (if you use email/password sign-in) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google. We use this only to identify you and secure your account.

2. Your WhatsApp messages are not stored by us

TeamFellow connects to a WhatsApp number the same way WhatsApp Web does: your messages, media, and contact presence flow directly between your device, WhatsApp's own servers, and your browser. We do not write conversations, message content, or media to a database or disk — they exist only in memory while a connection is active, and are cleared whenever the service restarts. We have no message history to hand over, lose, or be breached, because none is kept.

The only durable records we keep about a connected WhatsApp account are its label, phone number, and connection status — enough to reconnect it, nothing about what was said.

3. Linked-device session data

Linking a WhatsApp number generates authentication keys (the same kind WhatsApp Web stores in your browser). We store these on our server so your number stays connected between sessions. They are used solely to maintain your own connection and are never shared with anyone else.

4. Billing information

Subscriptions are processed by Polar.sh, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details — Polar handles payment collection directly. We keep only your plan tier and a Polar customer/subscription reference so we can enforce plan limits and let you manage billing.

5. Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

6. Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Polar.sh, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
• Our database and hosting providers, to run the service.

7. Data deletion

You can change your password at any time from My Account. To request deletion of your account and any associated data, contact us at support@teamfellow.xyz.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
